2011 Lunar Quasar 525

The 2011 Lunar Quasar 525 is built-on an AL-KO chassis with AL-KO overrun equipment and an AL-KO 3004 anti-snaking Stabilier / hitch for safer towing. At only 7 years young the exterior is modern and the side body panels have a unique horizontal indented design, with alloy wheels and modern road lighting.

Stepping inside, the main door is fitted with a waste bin for convenience, a door window is fitted with a privacy blind while the entire entrance can be shuttered off with a sliding flyscreen, which is great for keeping insects at bay while offering relief during warm weather. Every opportunity to let in natural light has been taken, with 3 decent sized skylights and an abundance of windows, all fitted with curtains, tie backs and blinds and flyscreens. There's also a myriad of lighting available throughout the caravan, with LED spot lights under the lockers and plenty of ambient side and ceiling lighting too.

The Quasar 525 has sectioned removable carpets throughout including in the washroom, these are laid over an attractive wood effect lino floor. Generous storage comes in the form of overhead lockers, large wardrobe and various storage areas in the kitchen area and under seating. The front chest of draws has a pull-out table surface which is great for drinks and games etc.. In addition there's a collapsible table tucked away in a purpose built kitchen cupboard for front dining. Dining seating is comfortable and is easily converted into a double bed in the evening.

For entertainment there's a TV/Sat and 12V power point conveniently located in the front dining area and a CD/Radio, with removable fascia discretely tucked in an overhead locker (radio aerial fitted outside). The 2011 Lunar Quasar 525 is fitted with Vision Plus Status 570 aerial, which is adjusted by hand from within the wardrobe.

Whether using LPG gas or 230V AC heating and water requirements are catered for by Truma, with Truma Ultraheat blown air heating including, warm air outlets in the front of the caravan and the washroom. Hot water is efficiently provided by Truma Ultrastore; the temperature of both these heating appliances are easily controlled using conveniently located dials.

The side kitchen is well equipped to cater for a budding family with gas oven and grill, and 4 ring hob topped with a glass lid, eye level microwave and good sized 3-way Thetford fridge, with digital controls and LCD diplay. The sink is covered when not in use and there's a neat removable plastic drainer that when removed, increases the kitchen work top surface area - a great help when preparing meals! A cutlery drawer and overhead locker with various plate and cup racks helps to keep tableware secure while on-route.

The side washroom is equipped with a Thetford swivel bowl cassette toilet, separate walk-in shower, vanity sink and chrome mixer tap, with large wall mirror. Essential natural light is provided by way of an overhead skylight and there's plenty of lighting for evening times.
