Take Advantage of Our Hire & Buy scheme

If you're wondering about the many benefits of motorhome ownership but would like to try it out first, we will be running a 'Hire & Buy' scheme in conjunction with motorhome hire company, Escape Motorhomes. Under the scheme it will be possible to hire a motorhome for a 3 day weekend and in the advent you decide to buy, the hire costs will be reimbursed.

Escape Motorhomes is based in Tiptree, near Colchester. The company hires out luxury modern motorhomes, which are regularly updated for reliability and comfort.

Driver Training Course

If you're thinking about buying a caravan but are a little nervous about towing for the first time, have you considered enrolling on a Driver Training Course? If you passed your driving test after 1 January 1997, you are legally able to tow a caravan/trailer over 750kg, with a maximum authorised mass (MAM), as long as the combined MAM of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg.

Driver training courses are designed to help you build confidence and enable drivers to tow safely and competently. Even if you have some experience towing you might decide to polish your skills, perhaps improve your reversing technique. Whatever your needs driver training is designed to help you accomplish your goals.

Just Richard Driver Training will be attending the Homestead Caravans Weekend Summer Sale Event and will be offering tailored towing instruction during the show. Massive Accessory Sale

The Homestead Caravans Accessory Showroom is crammed with over 6,000 lines for caravans, motorhomes and camping including a large display of outdoor furniture, fridges and coolers and Cadac BBQs. We have one of the largest stores in the UK, which includes a dedicated Kampa AIR Awning Showroom displaying the latest and most popular caravan and motorhome awnings in Europe.

The Weekend Summer Sale Event will see reductions across the entire store and a number of exclusive promotions, providing a fabulous opportunity to stock up in time for the summer holidays.

Meet Leisure Company Representatives

On the Saturday there will be a number of representatives from key leading leisure companies in attendance, who will be on-hand to answer questions and provide product information. Expect to see representatives from companies such as Kampa, Swift, Cadac, Milenco, Seago and Dometic on the day.
