Labcraft Astro LED Awning Light has a low energy power consumption of only 3.7 watts and at one metre will give you a light reading of 35 lux, which is equivilant to a 10 watt halogen bulb, but uses 5 times less power compared to a halogen of this wattage, so it can be left on for much longer without draining the battery. The Astro LED Awning Light is encapsulated in a weatherproof casing and with it's width gives an increased spread of light.
