The high quality Status 580 Digital Antenna System is a roof mounted amplified antenna with a compact design featuring an integrated long mast and wall bracket for extra height and performance that requires installation into a caravan or motorhome wardrobe or where there is sufficient space. manufactured in corrosion resistant materials with high quality ABS plastics designed for external use.
The Status 580 Digital Antenna System incorporates integral dipoles with the latest technology to give a powerful UHF, FM and DAB performance, at the heart of the system is the Vision Plus VP5 amplifier with unique signal finder specifically designed for mobile use, this unique product combines a powerful digital amplifier and dedicated TV signal locator in one unit. This ingenious system uses a traffic light LED to ensure quick and easy TV signal location.
The height, direction and orentation is fully adjustable from inside of your caravan or motorhome. The antenna cants through 90 degrees dependant on whether local TV channels are being transmitted horizontally or vertically. Operated by the folding winder handle, there's a polarisation gauge above the winder to indicate the orentation of the antenna.
Please note that the roof mounting assembly kit that is supplied with this product is not suitable for sloping roofs. An alternative assembly kit can be purchased if required.
Should you be replacing and existing roof mounted antenna for the Status 580 Digital Antenna System there is available to purchase an Antenna Blanking Plate (09-6073) that securly covers any holes left when removing a previously fitted antenna (base diameter 185mm).
