The Dometic Club AIR 260 Drive-Away Awning, allowing you to leave it on site whilst you explore the local area. The Club AIR 260 Drive-Away now features doors in the rear tunnel of the awning allowing for convenient access to the vehicle without going through the main living area of the awning.
The large 90cm deep connecting tunnel can be connected to your vehicle either throwing over the attached webbing straps over the vehicle or by using an optional Drive-Away Kit to connect the awning to an awning rail or the front channel of any roll out cassette awning. The free-standing Club AIR Drive-Away sets up in minutes and is easily inflated through ONE inflation point, using the Downdraught Hand Pump with pressure gauge supplied. Once set up the awning provides plenty of space for furniture and other equipment.
Drive-Away Awning Attachment Options:
Guyline Method - This is the quickest method. Throw the guyline straps attached to the top corners of the tunnel, over the vehicle and either peg down the other side of tie to the wheels.
Velcro Loops - If your vehicle is fitted with roof rails, then a quick method of attachment is to attach the Velcro straps fitted along the top edge of the tunnel around the roof rail.
The Club AIR 260 Drive-Away Awning comes fitted with Dual keder 5mm and 7mm sewn along the length of the rear tunnel, which allows various optional Drive-Away Kits to allow fitting to the roof of the vehicle, magnetic or suction pad, fitting to awning rail (if fitted) or to the front channel of your cassette roll-out awning.
Air Frame Construction:
The AIR Frame is incredibly durable, each AIRPole is made of strong TPU inflation tube zipped into a reinforced laminated oxford polyester/PE cover, which is then zipped into a heavy duty polyester sleeve in the awning. Tested to 22psi, the AIRFrame works best at 9psi.
