Introducing Telta
Telta has over 40 years of awning experience, including the design, production and sales of the first inflatable caravan awning to be sold in the marketplace, so Telta has created a NEW range of inflatable awnings to suit both caravans & motorhomes. Telta have a number of unique selling points that we believe are in the interest of all our customers.
Simplicity and functionality have been at the forefront of their design whilst developing a new range of awnings, and with this mindset, they have aimed to improve all basic features that are often overlooked, whilst also removing complex or unnecessary parts. Most of the awnings share these same functional features, with the main difference between models being their size, shape or front panel configuration, all very important aspects when deciding which awning is right for our customers.
Material
This unique awning fabric combining breathability, weatherproofing and durability in a lightweight material. This Teltex fabric has been developed in response to historic customer feedback. The Teltex is a fully breathable fabric which will reduce the chance of condensation forming and spoiling holiday trips. Most touring inflatable awnings are a non-breathable polyester and in certain weather/ground conditions the interiors can become unbearable. Teltex is a lighter weight than traditional breathable materials, so making in easier to handle when touring.
Hand-crafted with waterproof sewing thread that will expand when in contact with moisture, so this eliminates the need for unsightly taped seams which could peel and leak over time. Rigorously tested to withstand even the harshest of weather, offering complete peace of mind during any outdoor adventure.
Windows and Curtains
High quality windows with and added tint for privacy. Telta windows are designed to withstand a wide range of temperatures, from snow to blistering heat. Curtains are often the most criticised components in an awning and can make or break a sale. Telta curtains are made from a premium fabric to enhance the interior, they have a superior feel and hang with a look of quality.
On Telta awnings the curtain track is attached to the side panels, NOT the wall. This allows the side panels to be lowered completely with the curtains.
One Point Inflation
Telta awnings are inflated from a single point inflation
Each of the inflation tubes are linked together through isolation valves that provide the benefits of both being able to inflate the entire awning from just one single external valve, whilst also being able to stop the air-flow between tubes in the unlikely event that a tube becomes damaged.
Deflation valves at the base of the legs allows for the tubes to quickly be deflated in a controlled manner, so there is no need to deflate each of the tubes individually.
Removable Panels
All panels can be zipped out, reducing the weight for setup.Taller and wider panels allow for improved headroom when entering or exiting.
